Why I became an Estate Agent

I have always had a passion for property that stretches back to a young age, having done my work experience whilst at School and College with Estate Agents in Maidstone. Unfortunately when leaving school in the late Eighties the property recession meant my plans for this had to be shelved. However, it was always a burning desire and eventually got to work for a local Estate Agent in 1996, taking a pay cut to start in this exciting industry.

Career

After starting my career in 1996 with an Independent Estate Agent in Rainham I progressed through this company and after 3 years became the Branch Manager having helped the office become one of the market leaders within the town. I changed direction slightly and through relationships I had made moved into the new homes sector working with many Estate Agents to ensure units were sold. However, my passion has always been Estate Agency and moved back into a Branch as a Senior Branch Manager where I met Jamie Hill and through the work we did together decided that, we could offer something different service based on excellent Customer service. Thus in 2009 we opened Lamborn and Hill Estate Agents in Sittingbourne…

Interests

I have been married since 1999, having had two children who are fast becoming young adults! We live locally with ‘Spencer’ our Golden Lab. Out of work I am a keen golfer belonging to a local club and spend Saturday mornings cursing my frequent mis hits! I enjoy socialising with friends and family and like everyone enjoy a good holiday!
